A 15-year-old Roosevelt High School student known to her friends as “Kear Bear” has died.

Kerrigan Brandon died Wednesday at Mott’s Children Hospital in Ann Arbor, where she had been hospitalized in a coma since overdosing on a cocktail of prescription drugs on Jan. 12.

Her mother, Michele Rydlicki, said the teen will always be her Valentine.

“You are the most beautiful angel in heaven,” Michele wrote on a Facebook page she created for her daughter. “I’m sure being with God is better than any valentine! I love you baby girl.”

More than 1,000 people have “liked” the Facebook page and have rallied behind the teen.
